Below are some of our success stories.   We hope you enjoy them, learn from them, and even give yourself a pat on the back when you exhibit the same outstanding efforts which lead to all of our success.

** Recently, one of our notaries drove an extra 30 miles to deliver a package, all in the spirit of providing excellent service to our client, and did not ask for any extra fee!

** To further develop our relationship with a growing client, one notary went out at for a last minute midnight closing with the hope that it would bring more business her way, and it did!

** A signing agent in Palm Beach spent an entire day coordinating the logistics of an appointment.  The borrowers declined to proceed with the loan, however our client insisted upon paying this notary the full fee because she went ABOVE AND BEYOND her required commitment and did the best she could to get the loan signed.  Wow!! That is dedication!

** A signing agent we work with in Volusia County, FL sees a lot of last minute month end work through us for one specific client.  In spite of their hectic schedule, their response to us is always: Don’t worry, we'll get it done for you.  And they do!  They take the initiative with a smile and always manage to work with the borrower to schedule a time convenient for both.  Each and every signing appointment gets carried out on schedule with a smile.  We commend a job well done.

** As with any closing appointment, the documents are always subject to last minute changes.  Recently, one of our notaries deflected a potentially stressful situation when she offered to stop enroute to a closing to accept documents via fax and email at a nearby Kinko’s.  What a great solution, which resulted in a seamless appointment.  Kudos for thinking fast and thinking of Kinko’s!

** A signing agent in Miami is requested each time by our attorney client. They appreciate the proactive nature of her work, in that she takes the time to carefully review each document package before each closing and finds discrepancies beforehand to make the closing appointment go smoothly.  This signing agent realizes the importance of taking the time to prepare for the closing, regardless of time constraints or last minute appointments.  In the big picture, this practice is a real time saver.

** In spite of everyone’s efforts to provide flawless service, errors are sometimes made.  Recently we needed to contact a notary to ask them to return to fix some errors on a set of complex documents, and the notary replied with a positive attitude and smile: No problem, I will contact the borrower and get the problem fixed right away. Time was not wasted assessing blame, but rather the interest of our client and the borrower were placed in the forefront, allowing us all (as a team) to provide the top notch service we are accustomed to.

** Strong scheduling skills have come into play on a few occasions when split closings need to occur on tight schedules.  One that stands out is an end of the month situation where one part took place in the husband’s office, and the second part needed to take place at the airport before the wife was to leave for a long European trip.  Obviously the word Impossible was not in our closer’s vocabulary, because she made it happen.

** We have found that devastating acts of nature often bring out the best in people.  In the name of dedication,  some of our notaries whose own homes were damaged by recent hurricanes in Florida refused to be defeated and we found that many had back up plans in place for receiving documents, which is always a good thing to have, even on a good day.

Here are some funny stories we have heard in the recent past.

** Mindi Barnes, owner of FloridasBestClosers actually fell out of a chair during a closing, and proceeded to dust herself off and have a good laugh with the borrower at her own expense.  Luckily, no one was hurt, either Mindi or the chair!

** One signing agent called in to let us know the loan closed with no issues, in spite of the borrower’s pet bird repeatedly landing on his head.  And, we heard from the broker he did not miss a beat!  Now that is professionalism!

** Another Florida signing agent completed a refinance closing with the family’s pet rabbit chewing the entire time on her shoe lace!

** We heard that a loan closing was actually held on the hood of the borrowers Ford Expedition.  Talk about flexibility.
